NKET Visits Kabinburi Floating Solar Project, Showcasing Continued Performance and Clean Energy Progress

Our team recently visited the Kabinburi Floating Solar Project in Prachinburi Province, where Nippon Koei Energy Thailand (NKET) has supported Thai Solar Energy PCL (TSE) as the Lender’s Technical Advisor throughout project development and implementation.

It was encouraging to observe the strong operational performance of the facility, now operated by Solar Visible Company Limited (SV), following its successful Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 25 May 2021. The project operates under a private Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Hitachi Appliances, representing a key milestone in Thailand’s growing renewable energy portfolio.

During the visit, the team reviewed the plant’s operational status and assessed its overall technical condition. The observations highlighted effective operations and maintenance practices, reflecting the dedication and collaboration of all stakeholders involved—from initial development through ongoing operation.

NKET is proud to see the Kabinburi Floating Solar Project continuing to perform reliably and efficiently. This achievement underscores the importance of strong technical governance and collaboration in delivering sustainable energy solutions.

We remain committed to supporting high‑quality renewable energy projects that contribute to Thailand’s clean energy transition and long‑term sustainability goals.
