Key Responsibilities :

  • You will be part of renewable energy team and report to the Head of Renewable and Data
    Center.
  • Lead or participate in civil and structural engineering assignments related to wind turbine
    foundations, ensuring compliance with international standards, codes, and industry best
    practices.
  • Perform and review conceptual, basic, and detailed design of wind turbine foundations
    (onshore and/or offshore), including soil–structure interaction.
  • Conduct or review geotechnical investigations, site surveys, and site inspections for greenfield
    and brownfield projects.
  • Prepare and review technical documents such as feasibility studies, preliminary designs,
    technical due diligence reports, tender drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
  • Support the tendering process, including technical evaluations, clarifications, and contractor
    coordination.
  • Provide technical support during construction and execution phases, including design checks,
    shop drawing reviews, and site technical assistance.
  • Coordinate closely with wind, electrical, geotechnical, and project management teams to
    ensure integrated and optimized solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in wind turbine foundation technologies, design
    methodologies, and construction practices, including offshore solutions.
  • Provide direct technical support to the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Under the guidance of the Project Manager, monitor planning, budget, safety, and technical
    quality aspects of assigned projects.
  • Mentor and support junior civil/structural engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Report project status, technical risks, and design progress to the supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Identify potential technical and construction risks and propose effective mitigation measures.
  • Participate in the development of team expertise, innovation, and continuous improvement
    initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in wind energy or large-scale infrastructure projects,
    particularly wind turbine foundation design (onshore and/or offshore).
  • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design, structural analysis, and geotechnical
    engineering principles.
  • Experience in detailed design of wind turbine foundations (e.g. gravity, pile, rock anchor,
    monopile, or jacket foundations is an advantage).
  • Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g. Eurocode, ACI, API, or equivalent).
  • Experience with engineering software tools such as PLAXIS, SAFE, SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD,
    Civil 3D, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and coordination skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Solid report writing and communication skills, able to interact effectively with internal teams
    and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term missions for project execution or training purposes.
  • The position can be based in Bangkok (Thailand), Vietnam, or the Philippines.
