Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Project Manager and site engineering team in the execution of the solar power
    plant project.
  • Assist in coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure project
    progress aligns with schedule and quality requirements.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of technical documents, drawings, method statements,
    and reports related to solar PV plant construction.
  • Support site activities including daily progress monitoring, site inspections, and coordination
    with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Assist in tracking project schedule, quantities, and basic cost information, and report deviations
    or issues to the Project Manager.
  • Verify construction works against approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Participate in meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders and prepare minutes
    of meeting as required.
  • Support quality control and HSE implementation on site in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Assist during testing, commissioning, and handover phases of the solar power plant.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and provide timely technical support to the site management
    team.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with engineering disciplines, procurement, logistics,
    and local stakeholders.
  • Identify potential technical or construction risks and escalate them with proposed mitigation
    measures.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Renewable Energy, or related
    field).
  • Min 5 years of experience in power plant, infrastructure, or construction projects; experience
    in solar PV projects is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of solar power plant components, construction processes, and site
    engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical documents, and basic project controls.
  • Ability to work under site conditions and in multicultural, international project environments.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and willing to learn with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to prepare simple technical reports and site documentation.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written); local language skills are an
    advantage.
  • Willingness to be based on site in Timor-Leste for the project duration.
  • Contract duration: 1 year basis.
