NKEI Welcomes Nippon Koei Energy Europe CEO to Cirata Floating Solar Power Plant

PT Nippon Koei Energy Indonesia (NKEI) recently welcomed Wesley Stam, CEO of Nippon Koei Energy Europe, for a visit to the Cirata Floating Photovoltaic Power Plant in West Java, Indonesia.

The Cirata Floating PV Plant, with a capacity of 145 MWac (192 MWp), is Indonesia’s first floating solar power project and has been in operation since November 2023. The project represents a significant milestone in the country’s renewable energy transition and is one of the largest floating solar power plants in Southeast Asia.

During the construction phase of the project, NKEI served as the Project Management Consultant (PMC), providing comprehensive support to the project company PMSE.

Our scope included project management, design review, construction supervision, and commissioning support, contributing to the successful realization of this landmark floating solar project.

The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the project’s achievements and to share insights on the growing potential of floating solar and renewable energy developments across Asia.
