Key Responsibilities :

  • You will be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of BIM models and design drawings.
  • Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for Electrical systems using Revit and other BIM software.
  • Prepare BIM models and design documentation for:
    • Electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cable containment, grounding, fire alarm, security, and communication systems.
    • Mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, mechanical piping, and fire protection systems.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, sections, schedules, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate BIM models with Architectural, Structural, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in model review sessions and clash detection activities using Navisworks or similar software.
  • Update and revise BIM models and drawings based on project requirements and engineering feedback.
  • Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and applicable codes.
  • Maintain organized model files, drawing logs, and document control records.
  • Assist engineers in quantity take-offs and extraction of project information from BIM models.
  • Support design reviews and contribute to digital engineering and coordination activities.
  • Maintain high attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.
  • Work effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling, drafting, or engineering design support.
  • Experience in Data Center, Industrial, Power Plant, Building Services, or Infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM/CAD software.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360, or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Piping systems.
  • Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection processes.
  • Knowledge of international design codes and standards (IEC, ASME, ANSI, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Good command of English is preferred.
  • This position is based in Bangkok (BTS Nana – Sukhumvit)
  • This is a fixed-term 1 year contract.
