You will report to Head of Thermal and Engineering.
You share your expertise with your project team.
You will bring a direct support to the assigned Project Manager for successful coordination of project.
You will be a design and engineering role for Thermal Power Plant and LNG facilities.
You will utilize your best knowledge in piping design, project management and any technical skills to support all assignments including but not limited to
Power plant development projects (power plant conceptual design studies, feasibility studies and technical support)
Lender engineer/Due diligence
Owner’s engineer projects
Other Engineering projects
EPC tendering, bid evaluation and negotiation with EPC contractors
Other assignment from Product Manager Thermal & Gas
You will perform review calculations for equipment and systems.
You will design and review drawings (PFD’s, P&IDs, piping arrangements, layouts, etc.)
You will perform equipment sizing and selection
You will participate in project meeting, engineering meeting and any other meetings required by project
You will support BD & Sale in proposal work and clarification with the client.
You will coordinate with all project stakeholders to achieve the project goal.
You will take part in the development of the team (expertise, innovation).
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
At least 5 years of experience in the field of Thermal Power Plant and/ or petrochemical facilities. Knowledge of LNG is a definite plus.
Current knowledge and experiences with industry codes and standards for piping including ASME B31 series, NFPA 59A, EN 1473 etc.
Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required.
Flexible, meticulous, good planner and organizer.
Ability to work autonomously and be proactive.
Dynamic and have excellent interpersonal skills, willing to learn and good team player.
Solid communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Fluency in Thai and English, both verbal and written skills.
You are willing to travel for short term missions for project or training purposes.
Work is to be performed in an office environment.
The position is based in Bangkok (Two Pacific Tower – Nana BTS Station).
